Class Descriptions
Gentle
Yoga (+ Rest)
This class is taught in the Viniyoga tradition- Restorative,
healing and
calming. Movement into and out of the postures before holding
the postures
statically. Healing breathwork and meditations. Increase flexibility
and
mobility. Soothe your body. Calm your mind! Great for older
adults, those in
midlife, or for anyone!

Level
I
Learn
the fundamentals that are needed for all other classes. Instruction
includes detailed basic poses, essentials of breathwork and
beginning meditation techniques.

Level
I - II
Hatha Yoga
brings together a variety of Yoga traditions which emphasize
attention to physical detail, mental focus, mindfulness and
meditation. Basic Yoga poses strengthen and tone the physical
body while breathing and relaxation practices encourage peace-of-mind
and inner balance.

Level
II
This
challenging class appeals to students with some previous Yoga
experience, although modifications for all levels are offered.
More advanced, flowing poses with longer periods of static
holding, breath awareness, relaxation and meditation.

DanceYoga
Designed to allow for greater freedom of expression while
still emphasizing balance and spirituality, DanceYoga transcends
the traditional boundaries of yoga to incorporate invigorating,
flowing movements of dance and t'ai chi to provide an exhilarating
full-body workout. An eclectic fusion of various choreographed
dance modalities powered by yoga asanas, Buddha beats, mood
music, and other notable notes create a truly inspired state
of mind!
