Maureen Raes Yoga Studio is committed to making the
safe and effective yoga teacher trainings accessible to the
fitness industry. Our teacher trainings are rooted in age-old
teaching guidelines, and validated by current exercise science.
These trainings are NOT fitness-based activity, but true yoga...integrating
breath work (the essence of yoga THERE IS NO YOGA WITHOUT
BREATH!), and beginning meditation techniques.

Master Trainer MAUREEN RAE, R.N., E-RYT
A Registered Nurse by profession, Maureen is
the owner and program director of the Studio, an approved
Yoga Alliance school of yoga teacher training and advanced
study. She is an international presenter, known especially
for her innovative approach to Iyengar Vinyasa flow sequencing.
Maureen holds an E-RYT designation from Yoga Alliance, as
well as several other certifications.
A past recipient of the OFC Leadership Award,
Maureen holds a Specialty Recognition in Mind and Body Integration
from the American Council on Exercise, and NIA Dance Technique
Certification.
Maureen has trained extensively with Erich Schiffman
of Santa Barbara, California and with many other leaders in
the Yoga community.
What to bring: Nutritious snacks, water
and a blanket. Comfortable, warm clothing. No shoes or socks
required. Pen and notepaper.
