The presence of a yoga teacher can correct postures
and techniques. All of our teachers have undertaken months
(if not years! of training, and continue to
study. We have a comprehensive understanding of yoga from
various perspectives physical, mental and emotional.
Each session is 55 minutes in length, and will
be specifically designed for you, and for your body. Initial
assessment is done prior to first session without
charge.
Rates: $79 per single session
$140 for two sessions
$200 for 3 sessions and $300 for 5 sessions
Day and Evening Appointments Available.

Introducing 4 CDs to Practice
Yoga at Home!
Each recording is complete from opening meditation/grounding
to finishing relaxation.
Learn safe and interesting opening sequences,
powerful flowing standing poses, restorative seated postures,
smooth transitions between poses, amazing descriptive verbal
cueing, pranayama (breath work) techniques, and much more.
The first CD BREATH AND MEDITATION
teaches grounding breath visualizations, fantastic
verbal cueing and down-to-earth guidance leading the
practitioner on an inward journey home. There YOU are
just
behind the breath! It is 72 minutes long and includes an introduction
to Pranayama (Yogic Breath/Energy Movement) and a lengthy
Chakra Balancing Sequence. This CD is separated into segments
so that the practitioner can choose appropriate meditations
depending on which practice is required in that particular
moment.
The 2nd CD is called VINYASA FLOW LEVEL 1
AND 2. This wonderful practice includes gentle opening
postures combined with basic breath awareness, and moves on
to a more invigorating pose flow of Half Sun Salutations,
full Sun Salutations and a Warrior sequence. Maureen is known
for her intelligent and creative approach to sequencing, and
her mindful fusion of the strong and the soft. Fluid postures
and flowing transitions, powered by breath and meditation
techniques. Amazing verbal cueing! 65 minutes in length.
The 3rd CD is called VINYASA FLOW YOGA LEVEL
2. This CD is truly heart-opening Iyengar Vinyasa Style.
It is a complete yoga practice encompassing challenging sequences
recorded live during an actual class. Marrying mind to breath
with Sun Salutations and visual imagery, the postures become
fluid and alive. Included are some magical verbal cues to
take you deeper into the postures. You will find this 80 minute
practice energizing and powerful.
The 4th CD is called GENTLE YOGA. This CD features
a therapeutic and healing approach with the postures of yoga
gentle in nature, as the name implies, restorative
and mindful. The practice can be characterized by the conscious
integration of breath and movement of the spine. Practice
brings a strong, flexible and resilient back coupled with
a long and steady, smooth and subtle breath. Breath and movement
are linked together as a way to move the body and quiet the
mind. Students are taught that the breath should actually
lead the body into and out of each posture. Gentle Yoga is
less concerned with arduous precise exercises than with developing
a balanced healthy practice for each student. 65 minutes in
length.
